

Meet Jeanne Williamson, LICSW, CMPC
Mental Health and Mental Performance Expert
Jeanne Williamson, MSW, LCSW/LICSW, CMPC, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly two decades of experience working in the mental health field in a variety of settings including inpatient, intensive outpatient, and higher education counseling settings. She specializes in working with athletes and has worked with collegiate athletes in both mental health and mental performance work. She has special interest in performance anxiety, mindfulness, CBT and ACT. She utilizes an eclectic approach to therapy drawing on multiple theoretical perspectives.
Jeanne has a bachelor's degree from Concordia College in Moorhead, and a Masters of Social Work from the University of Minnesota. Jeanne is also a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology. She is the Associate Director of Student Counseling, Health, and Wellness at the University of Minnesota, Morris, and works part time for Assessment and Therapy Associates of Grand Forks offering telehealth therapy and sport and performance psychology services. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, exploring lakes of Minnesota, her three children's sporting events, and novels far and wide.
Jeanne is a member of the association of applied sport psychology (AASP) and Clinical/Counseling Sport Psychology Association (CCSPA), the National
Association of Social Workers (NASW). She is also a registered yoga instructor (RYT 200) and has special training and certification in Mindfulness. Jeanne is listed in

Team Workshops
Jeanne speaks to teams and athletes 18+ years and older and supports them with a variety of topic areas including performance anxiety & mindfulness.
Public Speaking
Jeanne is available for educational and/or informational sessions for coaches, teachers, and fellow mental health professionals. Common workshops for professionals include understanding anxiety and performance anxiety, athlete identity, communication, and mindfulness.
Consultations
If you know that you or someone you love need support for their relationship with sport, their own mental health, or other related concerns, Jeanne is willing to consult with you and send you a direction that would be best for you and/or your family member.
Referrals

Jeanne does not see therapy clients outside of her work in college counseling and private practice at Assessment and Therapy Associates of Grand Forks. That being said, she does have a fairly large network of colleagues and professionals that she can refer folks to if you are looking for something specific beyond what she offers. Jeanne only personally works with adults 18+
Mental Health Therapy
Jeanne is a licensed therapist in the states of Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. She sees individual therapy clients through ATAGF in Grand Forks tele-health only and part time only. Her therapy practice is currently full.
